Programs and
Services |
| Our two
key programs, the Emergency
Shelter for Homeless Women and Children, and Transitional
Housing for Homeless Families, are designed to help
families help themselves by learning new job and
language skills, linking with community services,
and saving money so they can get–and keep–secure
housing.
Both of our programs
provide women, children and families the opportunity
to:
- Stabilize the
immediate crisis,
- Identify
patterns that lead to cycles of homelessness,
and
- Develop and
implement long-term strategies and skills for
breaking this cycle.

| Helping Homeless Families
Help Themselves |
| Since 1983, Pajaro Valley
Shelter Services’ mission has been to help homeless families
get – and keep – stable homes. By providing a temporary
place to live, and the structure and support to identify and
change the circumstances that led to their being homeless,
Pajaro Valley Shelter Services gives homeless families a way
to make concrete changes in their lives so that they are
less likely to become homeless again. |
