 Season to Share
Imagine facing the holiday season while living in a shelter for homeless women and children. It can be a particularly sad time for children and families who don’t have a home.

Many of you have asked how you can help homeless children and moms share the joy of the holidays. Please consider donating new items for boys and girls ages 0 to 15 as well as small gifts for their mothers living in our Shelter.

Suggestions for holiday gifts are:

  • Toys for ages 0 to 15
  • Books / Picture Books
  • Dolls / Sports Equipment
  • Activity Kits for kids
  • Board Games / Puzzles
  • Radios / CD Players
  • Household Items and Linens
  • Gift Cards such as:
    • Target / Kmart
    • Grocery Stores
    • Blockbuster / McDonalds
Helping Homeless Families Help Themselves
Since 1983, Pajaro Valley Shelter Services’ mission has been to help homeless families get – and keep – stable homes. By providing a temporary place to live, and the structure and support to identify and change the circumstances that led to their being homeless, Pajaro Valley Shelter Services gives homeless families a way to make concrete changes in their lives so that they are less likely to become homeless again.
For more information on how you can help, please call Laura or Yesenia at (831) 728-5649
